Earthbox was developed in partnership with SCIP, Philip Harris, Rolls-Royce and the London Planetarium.

The Earthbox learning resource contains activities which ask children to design and make and Earthbox to record the sights and sounds of Earth.

The project also explores some fundamental engineering concepts relating to rockets and jets.

The activities and themes are brought together through the development of a piece of narrative writing - "The Earthbox Story.
